The Breaking point

The heart that always hurts, the pain getting worse, my heart breaks down the seam.
All my feelings pouring out, for the whole world to see; the barbed wire breaks away, my heart revealed. Old scars mostly healed. My heart and my feelings revealed to no one in particular.
Nothing but a memory I’ll take with me, nothing but a memory of the words you said to me today.
It breaks my heart to know that I was wrong about you, from the start. You broke my heart and it’s hurting. The pain that seizes; pain that never ends…
The heart that always hurts, my heart breaks down the seam.
All my feelings pour out, for the whole world to see. The barbed wire breaks away; my heart revealed, old scars mostly healed.
