It's funny how
it happens, that
feeling from afar.

That "It'll never
happen" feeling,
but still longing
for it to be.

That light-headed,
heart pounding
high
that you feel,
that no substance
could induce.

The voice that
makes you giggle in
glee,
like a little
school girl on
All Hollows Eve.

That smile that
you have to look away
from, in order to keep
your secret--
Your smile will tell
it all, if you aren't
too careful.

That body that
you can only
sneak peeks at,
smiling to yourself
at the secret she
doesn't know.

Then that feeling of
release, when she finally does,
finally knows how
long you've been in
Hell--
Your heart is free
of that burden,
as she was the
only one you
needed to tell.

And then,
she's moving, and
you ask, "Are you moving
forever?" and she
replies:
"No, nothing is forever;
I'll come back eventually."

Her response
makes you soar,
you're higher than
the sky will ever reach,
because you have
Hope.

Your sweet love
shan't be gone forever,
you might see her
again...

But still, you never
told her,
face to face;
But at least that weight,
(That only she could take)
was finally gone.

She knew, and
that was all.
Never got that
last, final wish--
But it's okay.

Because you have hope,
you might still have
that
one last
chance.
