She sees the world with cold eyes.
With an emptiness in her heart.
She sees a smile as hatred.
Laughter is teasing.
A nudge becomes a punch.
Sadness turns to fear.
Her face is the essence of ugly.
A mirror is a billion cracks.
Silence is safety.
Love is fake
And loneliness is shelter.
An autumn day is bitter.
A cut is painless.
A knife is red.
A future grave is her bed.

I dedicate this to everyone who has lost a friend or loved one to suicide. Though they may be gone they do not have to be dead. Forever they can live in our memories and dreams. Tell others of their stories so they know the danger of hate.
