As I sit in my tree stand,
I look around to see cedar and white oak.
There are cattle all behind me.
The sun
casts a power but not too powerful light over the fields.

At this point I’m not even deer hunting.
I’m beauty watching.
Green all around,
With the brown leaves just holding on by a thread.

With the wildlife all around me,
I’m at peace, nothing can change my happiness.
Where are these moments for you?
Your backyard?
Your house?
Where?
Of this 1400 acre farm
In every acre, I see God.

I see God’s face in the beauty of the fields.
Where do you see God?

I was out at our farm the day before and i realized just how beautiful the nature is here in Missouri. This inspired me to write a poem.
