The Truth
I look around
My eyes bouncing from
One person to the next
Every time they seem to
Land on the same person
You
Feelings of
Pain, anger and shame
Rush through me
Sending a
Sharp twisted shiver
Up and down my spine
Moments later a soft spark
Flies through my heart
Then you show your killer smile
But that smile isn’t meant for me
At least not anymore
My head is flooded with confusion
It washes away when I tell myself
I cant do that
Not again
Tears were shed
Laughs were laughed
What happened is over, I wont go back
Even if deep inside I know the truth
The truth being I want you
