Ignited by potent desire for
departure from desolation;
absent liberty in which hope eludes
and darkness ravages. Seek Wondrous
Blessing: not that which is but comes, slowly creeping
from Spirit’s breath.
Fear of unconsecrated night-time yet
a candle illuminates the darkest shadows.
From indifferent embers may
still emanate fiery tongues; broken hearts
may heal. Not forsaken;
you shall never fall.
Faith will prevail
when shepparded, flowers bloom
through cracks in the shattered road;
and I shall rise on eagles’ wings.
