Distance
They say it kills,
but can you see the moon?
Every night I see it too.

The author's comments:
A very simple poem of mine, inspired by my boyfriend, Zachary. It was made because we always talk about how we wish the other was near. Have over 1000 miles between us, it's hard to feel like a real couple; I felt like this was a short, sweet way to say, 'I love you. I think of you every night, and just because you're far away, the moon links us'
