I am floating away
Colors fad to grey
And then to black
I don’t want to go back

I am lost in a space of my own
A new place to go
New adventures to find
Creations are all mine

Lost in hallucinations
Magic of my own inventions
Imaginative wonders
Leaving everything else under

Ideas bloom here like morning lilies
Eccentric plans and longings so silly
Waiting to be picked when twilight fades
Painted colors in varying shades

I am somewhere taking flight
As high as a kite
Cut from a string
Not wanting sense of a sing thing

Because here it is beautiful
Entirely wonderful
Where quaint fancies will stay
Where I am floating away
