Come to me my brothers
And sisters
To hear the songs
Of our people

It’ll heal the wounds
That will never heal
Empower the weak, and make the shadiest of liars
Tell the truth

The words of a never-ending bond
Stronger than any mortal chain
Can break

Rhythms of the songs our ancestors sang
While being brought away from home
From the fields we once knew.

Power that can befall
The mightiest of warriors
And overpower the most
Powerful of kings

Like weapons on a battlefield
So write up a rifle
Or maybe sharpen up a song
With these
Words
In a song
Just a song…
