A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read.

I may be restrained in these chains and stored away in this cell but I am still free
Because you see, just because these chains hold me down you did not take my freedom from me
Freedom is the power to act, speak, or think as one wants with any hindrance or restraint
Not knowing the meaning of freedom is like saying you have a vast vocabulary but you still use the word ain't
Without confinement there cannot be any freedom
Just like without limits there cannot be those who exceed them
You may have taken my voice so I cannot physically speak my mind
But I can still think whatever I please so even with these chains I do not feel confined
You may have chained my body down so I cannot move physically
But you cannot restrain my thoughts in these chains, so unlike my body my mind is still free
You may have taken my eyes so I cannot see what happens around me
But I do not need sight to see the darkness in the world surrounding me
