Trying to let it go,
My heartbeat starts to slow
My sanity is fried
I'm breaking down inside.

Stopped trying to be strong
Used, and feeling wrong
My anger starts to grow
I let my fury show

Tearing at the seams
My voice hoarse from the screams
The numbness sinking in
Through my bruised and blackened skin
My mind consumed by dark
Just another walk in the park
