I see you standing there.
I flee to you.
Right before I make it to you,
My heart whispers
He doesn’t care.
My mind doesn’t believe.
My mind tells the lies
I am so used to hearing.
He cares.
I stop in my tracks.
I realize my heart is right.
As soon as you open that door,
It is confirmed.
You truly don’t care.
