I want to walk through snow capped branches
And step over slick autumn leaves
Buried under Winter’s white coat
I want to lay in the crisp whiteness
And take a moment
Forget the awfulness of the world
And listen to the whispers of the trees in the sharp winter wind
I want to fall in love
With the trees
And not the people
who cut them down
