Long, sneaky fingers
Fingers that pilfer
Pilfering sweet treats
That fill us all up

Ice cold November
November brings food
Food of the holidays
With family and friends

Count each passing day
As the days till white Christmas
White Christmas has snow
Which blankets the land

Children lay waiting
Waiting for Santa
Santa brings presents
For good girls and boys

But it is thanksgiving
Thanksgiving, not Christmas
Christmas is coming
But still, I can wait
