Visiting the Land of Nod
My journey begins in the sea; so blue, so serene.
 I dive into the heart of Atlantis, a simply beautiful scene.
 I swim past mermaids and mermen alike, with tails of shimmering gold;
 Then glide along the ocean floor, watching the secrets of life unfold.

 I’m then taken to a desert; so anhydrous, so bleak.
 I saunter into Babylon, an anomaly so to speak.
 I meander through the hanging garden, dressed with regal vines;
 Understanding how a lover’s devotion will forever shine.

 I’m lead to a mountain range; so portentous, so grand.
 I wander into Shangri-La, a strange and timeless land.
 I encounter an idyllic village, filled with many ageless folk;
 Learning the significance of life: growing old is just a cloak.

 As I awaken from this surreal adventure, I hope to never forget
 These lessons that have been displayed to me, to this dream I am in debt.
 To love and cherish every moment from my cradle to my grave;
 For life is but a trophy, and it’s mine to engrave.
