Bell ringing,
Precisely at 9:48.
Heavy footsteps,
Hovered breathing.
Restless glances,
Memories return.
Feelings rush down,
Memories fade away.
Tap-tap-tap.
Shuffling feet.
Tap-tap-tap.
Our eyes meet.
You toss me a carefree look,
Slowly whispering hello.
I toss you the same free-spirited look,
Pretending to be strong.
Pretending not to care,
Attempting to get by the same past love.
