Notice Her
December 2, 2012
Into the tunnel of darkness,
she goes.
She's slipping away
but you don't notice.
You simply pass by.
Each day and night,
she prays
that there will be an end.
She's slipping.
She's screaming
for help
with every breath
of silence.
You can never
notice
these small little
things.
But she's slipping away.
Soon she'll be done,
and you will finally
notice.
