I am a sole, stray soul in this deserted, desolate space,
Living in agony, anguish…and left astray,
Fastened into a swirling,spiralling, swallowing darkness…;

I am shunned by mercy, and shielded from hope,
Brutally tormented and traumatized senseless…,
By the ruthless chilly, still atmosphere;

I am lifting my weary eyelids gently,
As I feel the warmth of sunshine pouring,
Onto my pained, pale face…smothering the frowns on it;

I am blessed with the bestowal of a lesson,
That... courage and faith leads to,
Bright days…assuring me that it is not the end;

I deliver this very poem to anybody who feels drained and down.
