I Love You
There is love in his eyes
Love that I can't wait to see
Every morning when I wake
And every night before I sleep
With his embrace I feel as safe as I can every be
With every laugh and every day
I become free
With his dark eyes and dark hair
I see an angel true
With his silly smile and abash look
I see love in its truest form
As he learns to live and be free
And as I watch him start to grow
He becomes different
And yet he is still the same man I fell for
Two years ago
With his kind smile and his hesitant laugh
He shows me who he is
With his quick mind and kind eyes
He shows me who I am
He is part of me
In ways I can't explain
Because true love
Doesn't need a name
