they are all escapes from reality
but what makes us want to escape?
obstacles in our way?
fear of living?
of whats to come?
But movies books and TV don't always have happy endings
yet i crave their life
want them for myself
maybe i want what they have because they know how everything will turn out in the end
pre written scripts
they've learned to memorize
they rehearse
get it down
when and if they mess up
they can just redo the scene
no fear
unlike me in my life
where everything i do is controlled by fear
fear or whats to come
of the unknown
of getting it wrong
and being a disappointment
i can't redo whats been done
there are no deleted scenes in life
only the final cut
so its up to me to try my best
to deal with what I've been dealt and do the best job i can
