You stared back at me,
shiny green eyes
In the dimly lit bedroom pierce the veil sang
“Don’t you try to blame this on me,
My love for you was bullet proof
But you’re the one who shot me”

Smooth chocolate hair
Softly curls on your head.
your hands with strong security
I can feel on my skin.
You smiled,
But I could tell you were hurt.
I knew better.

I see a depression.
Leaving a black hole sucking in everything
But a lonely silence.
You scare me.
I could still see your scars,
That will probably never fade
I see this sadness every day
Still in you.

I want to kiss you
And hold you and say
‘‘I love you’’
But if I do, will it bring you pain?
Am I the source of what could kill you?
For if so,
I started something I cannot stop..
