I sit still, alone...
My thought are racing,
My heartbeat rapid,
My breath frantic.
I'm scared, crying...
I don't know what to do,
I don't understand what's going on, I'm so confused.
I can't think straight...
My feelings in a blur,
I'm trying to keep myself under control,
But it's getting harder by the second...
I'm screaming inside,
Can't take anymore,
I want to let go.
I don't want to feel this pain anymore...
My thoughts are shifting,
I'm desperate.
Contemplating my choices...
I turn my music up,
Louder,
So they can't hear me sobbing.
Hurting...
The pain's so intense,
Like a knife.
I let out a cry.
But they can't hear me,
I'm drowned out by the music...
My best friend...

Isn't it ironic? We ignore the ones who adore us, adore the ones who ignore us, love the ones who hurt us, and hurt the ones that love us.

I will check them out when they come online. Thank you so much!

I understand this to a T, try looking at my poem Thriving on The Outside, Dying Inside. It's very similar. Great job!
