I Should had never ran away
I Should had never ran away
we were friends at one time
you made me smile
although i had
long ago thought it impossible
once a smile
then a series of giggles
how it felt so good
to be me again
with you by my side
none impossible or quiet far
but times changed
and so did we
growing apart so suddenly
i began to sense it
and ashamed to say
i made a dash a little to fast
to were i am today
but you know as well as i
that we are
no longer more
water tainted with salt
lets me know
that you were the one
to love each and everyday
to hold tight
and certainly not run away
and now i
let you rest in ever peace
so you may forget
all our simple memories
that i ruined
