The Twenty-Six MAG

With twenty-six
I could make
A million.
A trillion.
It's infinity.
With twenty-six
The world has changed.
The nation has changed.
I have changed.
With twenty-six
I have been destroyed.
And now the twenty-six
Runs as the ink of my blood.
And it stains my heart.
Not that the bleach had already
Tried to remove those
Tiny-lettered injuries
From even before.
Now
More importantly
The twenty-six that
Turned my blood into ink
Stains my fingers.
