Every finger pricked by the thorn of a red rose.
Creating another tear of sorrow.
So long has she begged and pleaded for your life that you are throwing away.
Can't bear to see you dying in your own death bed, that life isn't cutting out for her or anybody else that cares for you and your wounds inside the lungs that you will soon take your last breath.

The author's comments:
What inspired me to write this poem is that my aunt Andy is a smoker who still won't listen to my parents who try to give her advice. So I wrote this encase she ever reads this and hopes she gets a good idea of what my parents are going through.
