Foursquare was not the game for me
I ended up with a bruised ego and scratched knees
Tetherball was a hit and a miss
They were hitting, while I just wished
Monkey bars was how I learned to fall
And pick tan bark out of my blistered attempts
Standing around with friends was fake
They never liked me in the first place
Hiding out in the bathroom was lonely
And I still didn't fit in with the green stalls
Learning my sadness was hereditary
Made me rethink it all
I ended up with a bruised ego and scratched knees

Standing around with friends was fake

And I still didn't fit in with the green stalls
Learning my sadness was hereditary
Made me rethink it all
