As I look over the water front
I see the sun going down,
As the stars will soon come out
To dance with the moon in it’s elegance.
The water is clear, the sky looks fearless
With a bird or two flying about.
While I see the hills and trees with shadows all ‘round
The sun leaves a wonderful yet slightly lamentable glare
In the water in with a peaceful affect on me.
While the water is still
And the sky is sly,
The moon will come out to cast shadows amongst the night
The moon will come out to light the night.
I lay here thinking of you as you probably think of her
I wonder why…
The sun goes down, while I have a restless soul
Walking about..
On the water front
