Repetition
It’s become an emotional Armageddon.
He said we needed a break
Now I can’t even write his name.
Curling, crying, crushed, caring
That had become my life.
Energy didn’t exist.
And yet without such an emotional trauma,
I would never have known others cared too.
Even if it’s nothing but platonic hugs,
That do nothing for me without him,
And girly movie and chocolate days
The feelings behind those actions mean a lot to me.
Even those small actions make me happy.
Even if they don’t have the same emotional impact as another,
The time they’ve taken to show they care has made all the difference.
Friends are just as important as lovers, and are always there
When you need them the most
Tell them thank you every chance you get.
They’ll more than make it up to you.
They will Avenge you.
