Snickers

I purchase a candy bar
from the trading post,
walk out,
and look at the surrounding trees,
and peacefully swaying grass,
being blown by the wind,
unwrapping it,
and take a bite.
Sweet chocolate overloads my taste buds,
and creamy caramel follows with.
My teeth crunch on peanuts,
my tongue dancing in pure delight.
Am I dreaming?
I wouldn’t be surprised.
Never before
has a Snickers™ bar
tasted
so good.
