Drip,
Drip,
Drip,
but these are only some
of the millions more
still to come

Drip, Drip
Drip, Drip
they fall a little quicker now,
before long I will see the flash
then hear the “Pow!”

Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip,
it is coming very frequently,
we all sing with glee
as God has answered our plea

Drip,
Drip,
Drip,
the drumming starts to slow,
the clouds start to split,
and from the darkness emerges a rainbow

My town was in a long drought and I observed the cycle and rhythm of the rain at school.
