Broken
Please, please just hear me out
I’m so unhappy, without a doubt
My past is over, just a lost part of me
That no one likes to see
You hold the key to my heart
But it’s broken now, we fell apart
Come back, just to be there
It’s something we used to share
Those long conversations make me happy
That continue to bring me joy, even if it’s sappy
I regret every single fight we had
Now I can’t even be glad
I know this is not enough
But it’s getting to be too rough,
Losing you is worst of it all
Even if you watch me fall
So go ahead and keep walking as you wish
I promise to never come back, even for a hug and kiss
