“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt, This is My Story

Is all I hear
But if its so quiet
Can I actually hear it?

But then
I open my eyes and it’s so bright
All I can see is a white glow
But it doesn’t hurt my eyes
Yet nothing is in sight

All of a sudden
I hear a sound I have not heard before
A million beautiful voices
The sound of a harp
There isn’t a ringing in my ear
anymore

Where am I?
What happen?
You are home
I heard from some guy

I rubbed my eyes
I looked at the man
Pop Pop?
I don't understand-wait have I met my demise

He nodded his head
Yet I wasn't sad
I felt peace
But I still wanted to know how I became dead

The headline read
Rest in peace
A drunken crash kills the girl
and now her love ones will have to forever live with the fact she's dead

Drunk driving
Is what caused someone to lose their little girl
Is what caused a family to become broken
So next time you have that last beer
Find a designated driver to drive you far or near

This poem is to help open the eyes of society. We need to create more awarness of drunk driving, so we can hellp prevent it! Rest in peace to all who were victimized by this very avoidable accident!
