the nameless poem
October 20, 2012
headphones plugged in
something on the tip of my tongue
but i forgot it...
so i simply lean back
....
and they ask me
'what have you done in your fourteen years of life?'
i say something
but i can't hear myself
press the pause button
figure this out?
but i can't. i just keep on living
wouldn't it be nice
if i didn't have a name
but
went by a million names
no one would know me
and i wouldn't even know myself
but the song's ending
....
i sit up
just leave it be
headphones unplugged
bathing in the glow of the computer screen
