The Last Three Days
The last three days have changed my life.
Six words was all it took for her to end me,
For I am Jericho and my walls came tumbling down.
We both knew it from the start, but like some screwed up movie we kept going, blindly forward.
It wasn’t meant to be.
My eyes close, I see her,
Asleep, I dream of her,
Awake, I pretend she is lying next to me.
She did this to me.
Like Jericho, my walls came tumbling down.
