O brother brother
don’t you cry
O brother brother
don’t close your eyes
O brother brother
I was there

But

A kind smile has made me wonder
A caring soul has proved me wrong
And a loving hug has changed me total

So now

Brother
don’t you cry
Brother
don’t close your eyes
Brother
I am here
