Blank
What kind of story does a blank face really tell?
It’s just like a blank page in a blank book.
What good is a blank story though?
It leaves you to write a fantasy, your own desires.
How can you write a face on another person?
I bet you’ve never tried.
The closest I’ve gotten is working at the face painting booth in a school carnival.
So who am I to write somebody else’s life,
Their story,
Their being?
I don’t believe I’m anything great enough to know exactly what they are.
So why do we judge?
Why do we assume we know people with one sideways glance?
Have you ever thought about what people see in you.
I bet you would love to hear all the snide remarks you think aimed right back at yourself.
So how about you stop to think next time.
People you see are not just who you believe them to be.
