Giving My Heart

I'm not perfect
I wont claim to be
I know there are people better than me
I know I'm not beautiful or pretty like society thinks I should be
But when I give my heart
I don't expect anything in return
Just that maybe one day
If you feel the same
You'll tell me and stay true
'Cause when I give my heart I trust you with it
I trust you not to break it
So if i give you my heart
Just hold onto it for a while
And keep me in your mind
'Cause I'll always be there for you
Even if it's not best for me
