This Feeling I Hate

The feeling of sadness
The feeling of quiet
The emptiness that accompanies it
As it slowly creeps up on me
A sense of abandonment that makes it's way into my mind
It makes me begin to question myself
Did I do something wrong?
Did I say something I shouldn't have?
Whats wrong with me?
It twists my mind into forgetting the truth
I become its pawn as it brings me to my knees
I can conquer it sometimes but it takes more than me to vanquish it
I hate being alone
