There's something hiding in those quiet eyes, merely unspoken truths, not daring to be lies
While there's no denial, still nothing is revealed
Such complexities lie behind lips ever-sealed
One wouldn't call it meekness, nor could it be called shy
It's more of a suggestion that we don't deserve to know why
Yes, there's a quiet arrogance behind those quiet eyes
Merely withheld truths, never allowing for lies

This is a simple observation of a quiet man who seemed to withhold infinite wisdom from the rest of us in his silence.
