Her World
She bought a world
Full of books and toys
Filled her room
Blocked out the noise
Let her pillow be her comfort
As her things became more
Nothing moved within her house
Nothing new she ever saw
And within herself began a change
She was not mad, or so she'd say
Her head became the law to follow
She made a new one everyday
Locked away from the world
By choice not force it was true
And yet her brain became another
Her morals changed from me or you
In the day she'd be fine
Her room had laws she could abide
Yet at night when her brain flew away
Her trusty pillow was by her side
