Ambition is a desire striving to go higher
Determined to be the best some one that people admire
Projected as writer but soon be at the top of the empire
They told me I couldn’t do it they told my rhymes was bad
Like, “Get a real hobby don’t turn out just like your dad”
I heard it but didn’t listen because certainly im'a finish
Running this long race when will I get to the finish
Like a car need an engine and a key need an ignition







Everybody needs a heart to live and every heart needs some ambition
Coming to a conclusion that obstacles are illusions
Because really their not threat like minor injuries or contusions
I got to keep it moving even when it feels like I’m losing
The longer I’m in the game equals more time to make change
