Dandelions
Sometimes I feel like a
Dandelion
At the mercy of the wind
I can only
Fight
Against that wind
Or, perhaps,
Create my own
A wind to follow,
To live by,
And manufacture
But I cannot allow
Emptiness
That’s where the wind is victorious
Where it
Overpowers the self
So I must create a vision,
And honor it,
Against Everything
Dandelions disperse with the wind
But they never fail to
Grow back
Because fragility,
Is innate in all
But it is not all we are.
