Young and Reckless
We were young and reckless.
We didn’t have any clue as to what was going on around us
The people we hurt,
The lies we told
The environment we destroyed
These were all oblivious to us.
But, like everyone else we grew up
We realized how much it hurts to be lied to
We realized that it takes more than one person to have an impact on the world
So what if we had realized this all when we were young?
What if we had made the change?
Then we wouldn’t be in this situation
We wouldn’t be at war with ourselves
Our world could’ve been saved
Our friends could’ve been spared
But we were young
Young and reckless
