Sliding the glass door open
Walking to the back yard
Climbing up the ladder
I have a pen in one hand
And a clipboard in the other
I finally get up to the top
Crunchy stale leaves all over
I wipe them away and sit down
Thinking of what to doodle
I smell something I thought it just might
Be the tuna fish sandwhich my brother left
