Have you ever been in love
Do you know what it feels like
To be on top then drop down bottom
The center of their world, but now you're nothing
A guppy swimming in a sea of sharks
Left with nothing but a broken heart
You were in love and it was real
But it ended too soon
You fell to quick and landed too hard
Who would've thought it felt like this
Why is such a beautiful word such a beautiful tragedy
Opening your heart again and again
Until its permanently cracked
Why does love feel like this
