Vast, but still teaming with life
In the middle
A white gleaming building
Etched with images of worship
Sturdy in its design
Dazzling the eye with color
Beautiful below the bright blue sky
Surrounded with prickly foliage
A mission in San Javier

I wrote this piece after I visited a old, hand built missionary in San Javier, Arizona.
