Three a.m.
Heart pounding blood rushing
The night is young
Right here right now
We fall apart
We rush headlong
Into a chaos
We call it life
Life in the moment
Life in the now
Until the moment
Becomes something real
Before we feel
Before we remember
We’d rather escape
Into the throes of today
