Every time she parts those lovely jaws
I can only hear the popping and squelching
and it won’t stop she just keeps opening and snapping
shut her mouth like a venus fly trap
but nothing flies in
and nothing flies out
and we all stare at each other’s Wal-Mart lipgloss and our
made-in-Taiwan faces and our
yellow bulimic’s teeth that mash our gum and when
I look at all these things with people faces and people voices
but they aren’t people
I want to sew up their g******** mouths
but then I would have to do it to every other
g******** person in the world just to be fair
