Paradise Doesn't Last Forever
People are traumatized, scared, sad, in disbelief.
The streets are torn up.
Buildings were knocked down.
Personal belongings, memories strewn everywhere.
Lives were lost,
Under rock and wood,
Shot by guns men,
Or by sickly causes.
People carry others for help.
Others do their job by caring.
They cry over their loss.
What did we do to deserve this?
Did it happen to the whole world?
No one would know.
Do people believe God did this?
Only the ones who do know.
Will this place ever get fixed up?
How long will it take?
Who would command it?
Is there any way it can be replaced?
No one knows.
Does it matter at this very moment?
I don't think it does.
Not until the injured are well.
For now we live like modern cavemen.
Will this jungle turn back into paradise?
Will paradise be destroyed again?
All I know is that paradise doesn't last forever.
