I'm caught between a world I know and
A world unseen

I'm caught between the stars abroad and
The ocean deep

I'm caught between the dead content and
The living mess



I'm tethered to all that has withered
But the corpes still speak

They've convinced me to linger
In the smoke that they speak

And how sweet the sound of the melodious melancholy
That echoes round because misery loves company
